How much ice do I need if I’m planning an event?
As a rule, we suggest 2 lbs per person if you are serving ice in cups to pour drinks into. If
you are icing down food and/or storing products in portable coolers, you should take that into consideration. We can help you determine what you need to have on hand.
How much does each unit produce in a 24-hour period?
Depends on the size of the machine. We can help you determine what size is needed based on your demand. We most commonly sell units that can produce 50 – 2000 lbs.
Does each ice machine hold the amount of ice it produces?
No, it depends on the bin used. Some machines have smaller bins than the unit can produce while larger units may have a bin to hold more than can be produced. We can help you to determine what you need to have on hand.
How many years should my ice machine last?
With regular maintenance, an ice machine should be expected to last six to 10 years.
